Profile name published

I am surprised to see my personal name in the user profile in this forum are published. So not only my profile name.
I thought only the profile name which was open to the public.
Is there a mistake or is personprofilet published?

Can it really be so difficult to get information on how I delete my account on the Drupal forum?
I want it because I have been surprised two see my personal name in the user profile in this forum are published. So not only my profile name.
Is it a secret how the user profile is deleted. Or what?

Just edit your profile and change it to anything you want. There's nothing forcing you to use a real name there.
