I suggest to have the following phrase in the User registration form: “By registering you are signing on the Call for global action of the World social Forum”.

pierre, jason, you have to remember that we decided in September (during a general chat) to let the signature of the call as an option!

So the checkbox text is "I sign the call" with a link to the call?

And this is checked off by default?

And the text "Check this box to fill out a profile for an organization you represent." should have added to it the sub (helper, description) text "This registers your organization as a signatory." ?

No - the decision was to have an "implicit" signing on to the Call - so only first signers will be cited as such. The others are all participants under the framework of the WSF and call for action:

- Put a phrase at the beginning of the registration form stating that: "This mobilisation is organised under the framework of the WSF Charter of Principles and the Global call for action"

- Create a page with all the Participants (possible to sort by Individuals, Organisations, Networks, Cities, Countries), with a title like: "Participants of the World Social Forum 2008 Global action" - and a link to the call and to the first signers.

Well half of this is fixed, adding the language to the registration page. (Actually the profile. These forms are joined but I may have to move it.)

I think creating a page of all registered participants is already a request and will be followed up with there.

if we take jason's implicit option ( i had gone for the optionnal voluntary one in the header)

then

the organisations having been described by one or more selfproclaimed representative should have a distinctive sign in the "list of "participating organisation" and the name(s) of the representative(s) should be also accessible

I don't see the fix!

Both the phrase in the registration form and the page with the participants' list are not visible!

Try looking in the registration form (log out, "Click here to register"). It's fixed.

("Click here to register" should really be just "Register" ? Anyone know if that language was specifically requested?
