I recently embarked on building my first Drupal sites (I've been doing web design for 10 years + some flash) and I am very excited about the possibilities for the future.

Anyway, I wanted to put some polls in each, for fun. I use a mac, osX, safari, firefox, explorer browsers.

The first thing I noticed was that the poll displayed in Explorer in the main display area (Kubrick theme) on the front page was that almost all the data was in a narrow vertical column. But if I clicked on "poll" in the navigation header & went to that page, it was fine.

Then I noticed that in the right had nav column, if poll block was enabled, the block would display okay (close to the top) BUT the bars for displaying vote percentages were at the bottom of the column. In other words, the image was split, almost like a layer, and the top layer with % bars sank to the bottom of the column. this was with all browsers. with explorer, the % bars functioned like a graphic the text far above had to indent for.

You can see it at www.theworstdateieverhad.com ... I am still in development. On my other site, also still in dev, www.thebestdateieverhad.com, I just disabled polls altogether because of these weird display issues.

Is there something I am missing? Some setting?

I went over to autowitch ... the guy who did awTags ... and the same phenomenon is happening. the funny thing is i've noticed that the polls are only screwed up on the main pages ... you go into a single node page, and the poll is fine in the column. am i the only one this is happening to (in safari, explorer, and firefox)? getting paranoid since no one is responding!

Yeah I get some weird display with Poll too. Not quite the same as what you are describing though. For me, whenever a poll with votes is displayed on the main page (/node), the black bars displaying the vote relative percent is not in the right position. It often shows up over top of one of the other bars so it makes the votes sums look incorrect. The block display is perfectly fine though.

atombee, have you posted a bug report on this? I didn't see one, but don't want to duplicate if you have.
