Thanks for your bug report!
I can't replicate this bug nor can I imagine this being caused by CSS or XHTML. It's most likely a javascript issue, not related to the theme itself.
Have you tested this with other themes and could you give a list of enabled modules?

A small update.
When I tried to close the iexplorer window(clik right+close) I got this message (see attachment)
#4
Hmmm that's really odd.
Are you positive this only happens with deco and not any other theme? Deco doesn't use any javascript so I would be really surprised if the theme is causing this.
#5
If deco don't use java then the problem is somewhere else. I will try to find other problems.
Still
<!--[if lt IE 7]><style type="text/css" media="all">@import "/themes/deco/fix-ie6.css";</style>
<![endif]-->
<!--[if gt IE 5]>
<style type="text/css" media="all">@import "/themes/deco/fix-ie.css";</style>
<![endif]-->
ie 6?
thanks .
