Using the Diamond icon shape, upon the user consenting to getting cookies the yellow / orange icon changes to green, however between these states the images don't align.

Issue addressed in the patch attached.

The Cookie Control module now uses the 5.x javascript release (see dev snapshot of module). Can you check if that still has the problem you mention?
