Hey,
I setup the position of Submitted by under the title and image but above the body but it still appears right at the top. I know there is an issue with it printing 2 copies which I will removed from my template but no matter where I put the submitted by it will always show on top.
I have attached 2 images to show my setup. Any help would be useful.
Thanks,
Mark

spgd01 commentedI have the same issue. I have two copies printing for each content type. How did you remove the default global submitted by?
I also cannot move the other instance in the manage display section. I am using display suite. Could this be the problem?

markhuntley commentedTo remove the default display you need to create a template file. You can find out what name to call if by using this module http://drupal.org/project/devel_themer . I have still not managed to get the position in the display to work, if I find anything I will let you know.

nancydruI just made a small change and the field is moving around for me. Please try it out when the new -dev rolls out.

nancydruI think both problems are fixed now.

spgd01 commentedmarkhuntley, Thanks I try templates until this is fixed. I really don't want to create a template for each content type.
NancyDru,
It appears to be working if "submitted by" is visible. However, if it is hidden, then the core display is re activated. I can move the display of "submitted by" field if it is visible though.
So the issue now is only when hidden.

nancydruPlease open this as a new issue. Keep in mind that I have no control over core.
