Contemplate doesn't find the tpl file

I want to make disk-based template , nut contemplate doesn't seem to find the file I created.
the content type is called product and the file created is node-product-teaser.tpl.php
When I rename the file to node-product.tpl.php it finds the file and chages both the body and the teaser but this is not what I want.
I think this is contemplate bug as I tryed all possible scenarios and couldn't make it work.
