back up not happening.

Description
The module is installed but when back up is run no file is created anywhere. Defective module. No offer to download the file, no pop ups, and have searhed the server for an errant file, but nothing. Module acts like it is in back up process but notta. This is the only problem with drupal so far. But it is a big minus for using it with any future projects. Can a fix be developed?
