I know you haven't released code yet, but PAM authentication of drupal would be extremely handy and I'll happily help out with testing and documentation.

The code is up now and I've at least minimally tested it successfully with the one installation I am using it for. I had only published the project when you posted this and it takes up to 12 hours for a "release" to show up. Anyway, I'll close this issue since it's really not an issue. But definitely let me know if you do have any problems.
