User Menu block to Authorize Div area

Hi Danland, themers and contributors!

I wanted to see if anybody has a fix for moving the user menu block to the "Authorize div" on all pages.

I attempted to move the block to the "search region" but its still not high enough.

Will Danland have a block in the upper right corner in future releases?
Is there a way to fix the user menu block so it will look like the "Login | Register" links to an anon user.

Are there any other ways to achieve this? I've seen it done in other themes, I just can't do it in Danland.
