Now that my Drupal site is up, I was hoping to create a video gallery. We have a bunch of videos on youtube that we'd rather stream from our site instead of taking the user off to youtube.com. Anyone know of a module to do this? I figure we can upload screenshot images of the videos as thumbnails.

creating video library
Hi
you can use video module.
by using video module,
you can embed youtub, google and other videos directly by mentioning video id as well you can upload and play videos directly from your site also
thanks, but does that
thanks, but does that operate as sort of a "gallery" where thumbnails can be seen and a user can pick from watching one of dozens of videos?
my guess is not... ;(
am i wrong?
i'm really surprised that there doesn't seem to be something like this already...
you can stream your videos
you can stream your videos from youtube using your player... no need to stream yourself.

ok, so no i take it
i take it then there is no video gallery module, that allows thumbnails for a collection of videos that stream from youtube.

For thumbnails to be generated from video you need to have FFMPEG installed on your server. Many hosts don't do this.
however, investigate the flashvideo module. It is the only one I can see that will generate thumbnails.
Personally, I'd use the Gallery2 script @ gallery.menalto.com and work with some custom themeing for a site if this is what I wanted to do. Gallery2 works with more then just images.
The fact that you want thumbnails on your site, to stream from Youtube, suggests to me that the above ideas would be pointless and you shoud resort to hand creating your page in Drupal. If you are looking for dynamic in this case, then you will have to do some legwork.
