Code clean-up [#1917646]

I know that this module is still in active development, but I thought a nice round of code cleanup per-

was in order. There's definitely more that can be done, so this can just be a starting point.

Hi Albert Volkman,
Yes I am aware of the issue but didn't have the time (Going to review my sandbox modules soon) I got the Drupal CodeSniffer integrated into my dev environment so all future code should be clean :)

This is very much appreciated and the patch looks great.

went over all changes and all look to be comments and code formatting and change no code. also gave a quick test and all looks good.
But this is a big patch so lets keep an eye.
