I tried to implement rating format (with five star) to work for google display but it just isnt working, formating is bad. And google doesnt support the way it is working. You can try it here when you install both modules.

Hi,
I tried the sugested link - did not work for me.

I think the current problem with microdata and fivestar (when using panels) is the fact that the type "http://www.schema.org/AggregateRating" is not showing in panels.

This can be fixed by applying a patch to the dev version of fivestar. See #1445944: Missing properties (e.g. ratingCount) on microdata
