job preferences may be refactored may be placed in candidate preferences instead of in profile
I think it will be ideal place for the candidate to update the current career status and preferences like-> job location preference, salary preference,job(title) preference. industry preference, notification preferences, contact preferences.

We have the job preferences in resume,
also we have preferences menu in candidate dashboard,my suggestion is to shift the job preferences to candidate dash board preferences
