After running successfully completing all ssh directions, I ran /misc/gallery and received this error:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: variable_get() in /includes/common.inc on line 1887.

I checked that line in common.inc and it's just a reference to frontpage. Not sure what the error really means. I'm running the Drupal 4.6 RC.

same here, when i finally resolved all errors, when i loaded the gallery i got this error. In drupal nothing has changed even if the module if enabled .. no idea.

Since there is no more activity here, Gallery 2 is out, Drupal 4.6.3 is out and gallery.module was updated by Walkah a couple of days ago, update everything and try again.
