I used Drupal a couple years ago and moved on to Typo3 (sorry, I didn't mean to defect), but am now looking at return to Drupal.
Since I haven't really followed what's been going on, I'm a little behind the times here and have a few questions.
(1) Why the two versions? What's the difference betwee 4.* and 5.*?
(2) My site is along the lines of About.com but specific to the county I live. I have many editors and I want each editor to only have access to certain parts of the site, and IMPORTANTLY, only have access to their graphics, files, etc. Example: Editor 1 will have access to the Sports category and will have access to sports.jpg and sports.pdf; Editor 2 will only have access to Education category and access to education.jpg and education.pdf but not sports.jpg ... I'm sure you get the picture. Is this possible now with Drupal?
