Using the version 7 RC install on nearly new D7 install, this module didn't work properly. There was no question on display after creating one on the /faq-page . I had the other issue reported here (no Answer field only Body field which is merely confusing as opposed to broke).

By using the DEV version and muscling through a few error pages the DEV version is now working fine. It would seem that it's pretty clear looking through the issues here that people should be using the DEV version to avoid a lot of these problems.

My advice to all: use the DEV version in D7.

Just wanted to report a similar situation. My installation of Drupal 7.20 is not clean, I've been installing and uninstalling modules and content for several weeks.

However, this morning I installed the FAQ module and everything appeared fine. I set it up as instructed and created my first piece of FAQ content, but nothing showed up on the 'faq-page' page. I found this topic and decided to try the Dev version of the module and now everything is working fine and the content is display as expected. (I did have to delete my existing content and re-enter it, before it it worked fine);

I did not put much effort into trying to figure out why the original RC version did not work. Just posting to confirm that I've experienced a similar problem as @royerd

I did a fresh installation and no problems here. Only problem I had was that I wanted to categorize, therefore I first needed to add a category field to the content type FAQ. That fixes the issues I had.
