Non profit seeks Drupal Help

ARTWORK ON VIEW is a San Francisco nonprofit art organization which displays the work of cutting edge and established visual artists on its web site. Details of our operation can be found on our URL, www.artworkonview.org. In sum and substance AOV displays the work of visual artists on our web site and encourage web site users to directly contact the artists and, hopefully, purchase artwork directly from them. In this way we aim to improve the amount of money individual artists receive for purchases of their artwork and eliminate the very high commissions exacted from the artist by third party Art Galleries.
The AOV web site is data base driven, php and MySQL. The original web site was designed by volunteers and requires upgrading. AOV has in the order of 120-130 participating artists, seeks to increase participation to at least 500 artists and to eventually sell commercial banners to increase income. We charge our participants $48.00 per year which does not cover our operational costs. The balance comes from tax deductible contributions.
The AOV URL is designed for easy use and also aims to encourage use by tourists to specific geographic areas when they are planning art itineraries. In this connection we plan to also provide an art organization directory. We have loaded about 200 nonprofit art organizations but the art organization directory is not yet ready to go online.
We had a programmer who was upgrading the existing website. However she went out of business and is now in Australia and consequently we now need a programmer or programming firm to take over her work. Her partial work is available on our ISP's (LunarPages) cpanel. She was not using CMS. We now understand that CMS Drupal might be appropriate for our needs.
We do not plan to make any significant changes in the appearance or architecture of the AOV URL though we are certainly open to suggestions.
We are interested in obtaining a reliable experienced programmer or programming organization with experience in CMS preferably Drupal who can provide us with a detailed proposal and costs. If you are interested in this project please contact me after looking at the web site. We will also need some training so that we can edit and change the website after the improvements have been made.
We can supply you with access to the Lunar pages c-panel to aid in making an assessment of the professional time needed for this project. We also have a detailed list of the improvements we seek.
