Profile will not hide Location under a dependency field

I am trying to hide a Location field under a user profile if the person doesn't live in a certain country and show it if they do. What is suppose to happen is that the location field is hidden by default, the user is prompt wether he lives in this country and if the answer is Yes, then the location field will appear to take his address.

After testing this with several test installations I figured that the problem might not be caused by the dependencies module or location module but the Profile 2 module, as this same scenario seems to work perfectly well under a node. The profile type seems to hide any other field except the Location field.
