Just that I get this message in IE8. (see the captures). I already applied this patch (but problem is still there): http://drupal.org/node/1914084

I used the modal forms in combination with clientside form validation module.
When disabling that module - my problem went away :-).

There is an option in the admin page
admin/config/validation/clientside_validation/general

That will ENABLE support for < IE 9
