Error Deselecting this theme from Default Theme!

Hello, I encounter the following issue:
I installed this theme, selected it as default for entire website. Then I changed my mind and wanted to select another theme as default. It works OK if i am logged in as admin, however, if i logout, the activesigns stays as default, overiding my choices.
I tried to delete the theme, but now I have no theme at all. If i log in as admin, however, I can see the theme I selected as default.
I am using drupal 4.7. Any solution would be gratly appreciated.
