I saw there was a previous issue that was closed because it said this was fixed in v2.0. However, I had this problem with v1.0 and updated to 2.0 to try to fix it. After upgrading and flushing a cache, the breadcrumb URL still creates a link with \.

Same problem - the menu item with is still showing its name in the breadcrumb.

A quick update.

The <nolink> item gets removed from the breadcrumbs for the child page but not the "grandchild" page.

See pics...

Column 1 is the <nolink> menu item.

I just downloaded this and installed it. I'm getting the same thing - both items that I used this on have links in the menu and they look like this: http://domain.com/%3Cnolink%3E

@jsimonis somehow I've managed to fix but for the life of me I can't figure out how...

It might be this patch https://www.drupal.org/node/1266050 on the 2.0 dev package...

From what I can tell, that only affects the pathauto path for things, not the link in the menu.
