I am using Context in Omega to disable a sidebar on certain pages (using Delta).

All was fine, but I just tried to use the AJAX disable link and, while it worked for me (the space for the sidebar appeared) another logged in user cannot see the change. Further, I cannot see the change in another browser if I am not logged in.

I have emptied the cache several times. I have even deleted the context altogether. I disabled the Delta theme change as well.

This is remarkable. I just added a block manually to the page and the sidebar appeared for the non-logged in browser. Thinking this reset the caching issue, I deleted the block, and now the layout reverted to the context state! It many settings, I would actually like this to happen (only show the sidebar if blocks are present), but in this case, I don't want it and can't get rid of it.

Ok, so I have achieved the result that I need, but I'm not clear if context was really doing anything after all.

In the Omega theme settings, I just checked "Force this region to be rendered" for the "sidebar second" and it appears now in other browsers. It still seems odd because I had to create the context in order to get rid of it.
