Has anyone come up with a way to limit the display of repeated events to groups' (OG) river of news to just the first post, rather than all copies initially created? Perhaps if eventrepeat set the 'created' timestamp for each future node, other than the first instance, to the day just before (or a week before, or something variable based on a setting), then a custom view could filter out nodes with a future timestamp???

Is there a way that now exists to accomplish this?

This may be a feature request if nothing exists to do this now.

Just add an override view to og_ghp_ron and add a filter to exclude Events. Then add a block to show a view of the Event with 1 node.

This is the 2nd time this as come up. Thanks for a fix there dleeward. When I create the FAQ for this module I need to add this in there.
