The site is very simple, just basically my resume/portfolio site, although I do use my hosting plan to host websites currently in development. Hostgator has worked well for me, but if there's something better out there in the same price range, this would be the time to move. Essentially, I'm looking for solid inexpensive web hosting (preferably around or under $10/month) for personal use.
Does anyone have opinions of Webfaction? I saw it mentioned on the Drupal subreddit a few weeks back and thought it might be an alternative to check out.

Hostgator is a good choice
Hostgator is a good choice when hosting Drupal. I would recommend to stay with them before you meet some problems. The only issue we have found about Hostgator is that their customer bases grows really fast and they don't have enough staffs to handle Online Chat support request, which causes the waiting time to be really long. But except this, Hostgator is great.
Webfaction is popular in Python/Django developers. They might be good at PHP applications hosting, but I don't think it's good idea to host your drupal sites in a server with many package installed.
I didn't know that about
I didn't know that about webfaction. Thanks. Well, after that comment and the few others I read in this thread, I'll probably stick with HostGator. Thanks!
Webfaction
For a shared host Webfaction I think are fantastic. All the benefits of shared hosting with the flexibility of a VPS, shell access, easy ability to run Drush, upgradeable RAM, diskspace and bandwidth, and lastly good support. Also support for Git repositories and other geeky toys!
All my Drupal sites work really well out of the box. What's not to like?
