Using PHP on a Basic Page

I'm migrating an existing site to Drupal, and I'm trying to use a simple PHP include statement:

<?php include ($_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']."/NEWS/current_news"); ?>

in a Basic Page, but it doen't show up. I've googled my heart out, but no hits.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Have you enabled the PHP code

Have you enabled the PHP code filter (the module is disabled by default)?

And have you set the text filter to PHP code?

I'm still digging around in this nifty system. Thanks to your pointer, I found it in the Modules tab. Now I can (dare I say it?) Rule the World!
