I've been struggling with the Video module for a couple of days, I can't get Zencoder running. The video tutorial doesn't help because at this point the version 2.9 look pretty different than the version in the tutorial.

I activated the Zencoder API module. Then the status report says that I have to get the library and copy it to /sites/all/libraries/zencoder. I downloaded the library from the given URL (https://github.com/zencoder/zencoder-php) and copied it to this directory. The status report and the Video configuration still say that the library is missing.

So I can't activate Zencoder in the Transcoders. What should I do?

OK, forget it.
I did again what I had done first, i.e. renaming the directory "zencoder-php-master" to "zencoder". That didn't work then but it works now. Don't know why ...

so what did you do? sounds like it appeared *magically* in a drupal style... for me i just cant "activate" the zencoder library...

Check the dependencies and rename the library properly to make it work.

You must make sure that sites/all/libraries/zencoder/Services/Zencoder.php exists.
