Option needed for using 'Entity Reference Prepopulate' instead of 'nodereference url' in D7 version

As of Entity reference prepopulate is more up to date.

Nodereference url is 'The D6 way'.

I would really apreciate this supprt as it would keep the number of modules and complexity and source of problems down. I'm pretty sure many of us aggree.

If anyone has any experience would you please share where to start at least.
