is there anyway to make this module work with search views? i use search_api along with search facets and search views. I couldn't make this module work with a view that I created using search view, is it possible to do this?

Unfortunately this won't be possible since Search API Views uses Entity to get the list of available options (instead of querying the data directly through taxonomy).
I tried to create a filter handler that works with the indexed data but there are some mandantory options missing so I'm not able to create the hierarchy/data needed for the exposed widget.

Maybe someone find an easy way to accomplish this but I think it won't fix until Drupal 8.
