Installed, Uninstalled and now original search function is messed up

Hello!

I installed and enabled this module on my live website not knowing exactly what it did (I thought it would allow me to choose between searching my site and google). A foolish decision, I understand. After uninstalling, my original search function (the core drupal search module) started behaving a bit erratically. When users enter search criteria in the search box on my main page (www.openecosource.org), it does not search but instead acts as a link to another page where you must enter your search again (it works from this page). This only started happening after I uninstalled this module, and I am not exactly sure what the problem is. It may not be realted to your module at all, but if you have any idea how to approach fixing this problem, it would be greatly appreciated.
