When an author edits their post within a group I am following, I receive another email notification with each edit. I would prefer to only get one; perhaps the first for "Immediately" Send Interval notifications settings or the most recent edit for other, time-based notifications settings.

At the very least, how about some "hover" text for the "edit" link that says something like:

All authors, particularly an author who is cross-posting, should give serious consideration before deciding to edit preciously submitted posts, since doing so means all group members may be subjected to "Editorial Spam" (The possibly unwanted additional email notifications for different versions of the post, the receipt of which group members have very little control over).
