When a users visits http://drupal.org/contact, the categories that are listed as follows:

Spam on drupal.org
General inquiry (other)
Newsletter advertising
Newsletter suggestion
Press inquiry
Problems with CVS accounts
Security issue
Translations

There is no obvious way for reporting issues to webmasters, such as user login issues, or other things related to drupal.org.

This causes an increased volume of "I can't login" type of problems reported as "Security issue", and is distracting.

The options need to be more clear

Here is a first stab.

Spam on drupal.org
Advertising on drupal.org
Press inquiry
Problems with user logins
Problems with CVS accounts
Other problems with *.drupal.org web sites
Security issue with the Drupal software
Translations
General inquiry (other)

Odd... There used to be a category "Problems with this website" in there. I suggested it be changed to "Problems with the drupal.org website" as we got a lot of support requests through that from people thinking that meant problems with _their_ website. Maybe someone got annoyed and just removed it instead? I agree it needs to be put back and your naming makes sense.

Here's a slight edit that might help avoid those misdirected support requests:

Spam on drupal.org
Advertising on drupal.org
Press inquiry
Problems with user logins on drupal.org
Problems with Drupal CVS accounts
Other problems with *.drupal.org web sites
Security issue with the Drupal software
Translations
General inquiry (other)

Webmaster Issue Queue Cleanup - 2 year old issue

I looked over the contact list and it seems better now. (It'll never be 'perfect' though.)

I'll mark this as fixed
