Description
Hello all,
Since waiting for the Moodle -side to be finished is getting a bit of frustrating, I was wondering what other options there would be. Has anyone experience in running Drupal and Moodle with an LDAP -server that would provide authentication? Would that provide single-signon?

It's easy to authenticate off a single db - Moodle can be configured to authenticate off of Drupal's db, or both can be configured to authenticate off an LDAP server; but neither option provides a single sign-on. PubCookie is one option - but the learning curve for this seems to be high. Anyone using this option w a Drupal/Moodle integration?

Don't know if this is any help,
but there is a Moodle module, that supports SSO for Joomla / Moodle (both 1.8 and 1.9).

Obsoleted by events. See other issues here at the moodlesso module regarding SSO with OpenID and LDAP.
