Newbie here, so please excuse any faux pas ;-)

Clean install of 6b2, and starting to do some preliminary setup. on the /admin/settings/image-toolkit page, I change the value from the default 75% to 50% and save configuration. On refresh the formfield once again shows 75%. Not sure if that is a presentation error, or if the data is not getting updated... buth thought it worth a mention.

PS: "The GD toolkit is installed and working properly."

I did a cvs checkout of drupal b2 and drupal head and this setting was able to be changed, and was kept in both firefox and in ie7. Is there any additional info that you can give in order to re-create this problem?

Turns out the problem was significantly larger than the sympton reported above: there were permission issues and some other stuff I have no idea about (let's hear it for sysadmins who know their stuff!). In any event. we re-installed on a php-5 enabled box, and things are working fine as regards this issue as of this evening.
