Any help or advice on this would be appreciated. I have a subscription of journals that are only released three times a year. I want users to be able to subscribe to the calendar year (example 2013) subscription of the journal. So, I need to be able to have the payment recur on January 1 each year rather than a set amount of days, months or years from purchase. So the idea is that regardless of when purchased, all subscribers would be charged on January 1.

I'd even be fine with creating some module that hooks in and hardcodes January 1 as the date. Am I on the right track here?

To anyone who might be getting to this issue through google... after looking into it some more, you will need the CIM and once a subscription is placed, you can edit that subscription in the manage subscriptions page (admin/store/subscriptions/subscribers).

From here, I am going to try and write something to automatically update the next charge date to Jan. 1 programmatically.
