My personal blog gets about 90 visitors a day. However my adsense impressions are around 8 a day.
It doesn't make much sense to me.
Is there maybe a configuration I could be missing?

A lot of visitors are
A lot of visitors are blocking ads. So these will not be counted by Google.

Who says you're getting 90 visits per day?
I believe Google's Adsense traffic stats, like those of the Google Analytics tool, are based on a small javascript piece of code being executed. Search engine spiders and other automated visitors don't trigger the script, but they will show up as traffic in many log-file based counter systems. Hence, there is often a (valid) discrepancy in traffic statistics.
Also, Google Adsense only counts traffic on pages where it's been deployed. Is this 100% of your site?

yes
I am not talking about spiders etc
This is stumbleupon traffic so I do not expect clicks but I know there were 90 visits from different IPs that were not spiders.
The discrepancy is too big to be people cutting off ads, or at least in my experience.
