Not for me... i only have one... maybe a project module bug or permission thing, but i can only access HEAD. See the screenshot.

While investigating http://drupal.org/node/197445 I discovered the root of the problem here. Now fixed and deployed on d.o (http://drupal.org/cvs?commit=90187 for the interested reader). In the future, non-admins should be able to move 6.x-1.x-dev HEAD nodes to a DRUPAL-6--1 branch without trouble.

I checked the sections release node if i'm able to change from 6.x-dev to HEAD, but this is not possible. Is this ok? Does your change only cover the other way from HEAD to 6.x-1.x-dev. If the last only i cannot verify... all my projects have already been moved.

Right, once a release node is pointing to a specific branch, you can't move it back to HEAD. The move is only allowed in 1 direction: from HEAD to a more specific branch.
