Hello ive enbled both themes and have the starter kit as my default. In starterkit settings i see no plugin manager even with the sigmaone as admin. Things work well if i just user sigmaone and not the starterkit.
should the starterkit have the plugin manager?
thanks

fadgadget commentedi dont know if this could be related but when i remove the logo block from a page in region manager i get this error on the page
Notice: Undefined variable: logo in logo_block_renderable_array() (line 125 of /home/xxx/public_html/sites/all/themes/sigmaone/sigmaone/vtcore/plugins/layout/blocks/logo/logo.block).Comment #2
fadgadget commentedi sorted #2 by unchecking the logo option. i was obviously doing the logo in the starterkit

duckzland commentedThe starter kit should have plugin manager in their configuration page.
as you've set them correctly, starterkit as the default theme and sigmaone as the admin theme. could you try refresh the cache?.
fadgadget commentedThanks duckzland. Tried that. When i go to settings here
admin/appearance/settings/StarterKit
i just have a blankpage. (when starter kit as default or not) Im just using the original for now but i know im gonna have to use the start kit eventually.
Im loving what im learning about this theme. Its really top notch stuff. Using it with context and works brilliantly. Thanks for creating it.

duckzland commentedGlad you like it :)
I've heard that buggy APC version can cause similar wsod, does your php have APC enabled?.
fadgadget commentedsorry duckzland but its not a wsod that im getting. Just no plugin manager there.
sigmaone original no problems there.
duckzland commentedsomehow I can't simulate this on my windows and linux development box using vanila drupal 7.20 plus sigmaone 1.1 and php 5.3.14
Well, let me know if you ever found out what the bug is and I'll make changes to the code.

fadgadget commentedk no probs ducksz. Ill just carry on with the original if you dont mind. I dont really have the knowledge or the time at the mo to sort it soz. Too much to get on with your layouts. Theyre great. I suppose i can create layouts and then turn the plugin off. Love it.
fadgadget commentedcan i maybe just create my layout files in sigma and then copy them over to the starter kit? That sounds pretty 'drupally'. I suppose it would work wouldnt it? ill give it a try.
duckzland commentedyou can inject the custom layout file created by the GUI to child theme layouts/theme_default folder.
To create a subtheme correctly:
1. copy the starterkit to a different folder outside sigmaone main folder
2. edit the .info file and change the starter kit name to your custom name to avoid namespace clashing
3. enable the subtheme and set it as default

fadgadget commenteddurrr soz duckz im not used to subthemese. Just saw the read me. I bet this will sort all my probs

fadgadget commentednah still no show im afraid duckz. Its a new drupal install too. Ive still to get this D7 site sorted so as i can look at importing the last 4 years of data from my D6 site. Sending me mad. Im just gonna stick with the default theme if you dont mind for now duckz and get on and ill look at it another time.
