We are looking for a Drupal developer to join our growing engineering team in Manchester. This is a leadership position where you will work with our US-based engineering team across various projects. Your primarily role will be to contribute expertise and development practices, while spearheading the future growth and development of a UK technical team.
Back to you…we're looking for The One to join us in the war against the crap clogging the digital waves. Here are some requirements for you to mull over. We’re looking for smart, collaborative peeps so we’ll waive one or two of these if you’re a good fit:
- 5+ years PHP development
- 3+ years Drupal development
- Drupal 5, 6 , 7, 8
- Thorough understanding of Drupal API
- Proven experience in module development
- Experienced Drupal Themer
- Javascript especially jQuery library
- Handcoded HTML and CSS
- Aegir
- Drush
- Version Control - GIT
- Previous Leadership role
- Analyse client requirements and produce extensive written specification
- Ability to work with written specifications and to strict deadlines
- Apache, mySQL and Linux
- SQL
- XML
Whew, almost there. We'd go gaga if you also had experience with:
- Other PHP frameworks and technologies
- HTML 5
- Working in high-traffic websites
- Previous leadership role
- Demonstrable knowledge of everything mentioned above
- Willingness to travel to Florida
- You play well with others
- Chasing down the impossible is second nature to you
