Can't sem to get term description to traslate

Hi,

I'm currently using panelizer to make a full page override for a taxonomy term page and am displaying the term name, term description as well as a view that lists all nodes of that term.

I'm having issues interting the term description that will translate. I've added the "term description" from the "Category" group of items but it doesn't seem to support i18n would you have a workaround or suggestion on how to make this panel i18n friendly?
