Mobile

Room Reservations can display a different version of its pages on desktop and mobile devices. The reservation calendar looks like this on desktop displays:

The desktop display can be replaced with a display similar to the one below for mobile devices. The mobile display only shows one reservable room per day at one time, and there are controls at the top of the display for viewing a different room and/or day.

Room Reservations can create a mobile version of its pages if you have created your mobile site as a separate website from your normal desktop site and you have set up both sites using multi-site configuration. (Additional information about the multi-site feature is available here and here.)

Room Reservations will only create a mobile version if the mobile site has a different domain or subdomain name from the main web site. It can be used with a module like Mobile Tools, which is capable of detecting the user's device and redirecting him or her to a different location in order to access the mobile site. To enable this feature in Room Reservations, enter the url for the home page of the mobile site in the Mobile settings configuration page. Also enter the name of the database used by your main (non-mobile) web site. Room Reservations stores all of its information in one place, that is, the database used by your main web site. This information is then shared between both the main site and the mobile site.

After installing the Room Reservations module, make sure it is enabled for both your main web site and your mobile web site.
