When installing, I get this, "The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later."

Then the Module appears to be installed. But there is nothing to configure. I am familiar with this module and know how to configure it.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but always get the same issue. By uninstalling I mean not just unchecking but using uninstall. The main xml sitemap module does not appear on the uninstall list but all the other xml sitemap modules appear.

I have tested with most and none of the other XML Sitemap modules installed.

You need to determine the source of the unexpected error. Usually a configuration issue of the services provided by the host. It isn't an issue of xmlsitemap.
