Any possibility of adding a profile type to be part of the options instead of base on email

Issue Summary

I am using the Profile 2 module and will like it to be part of the pre-approved option, limiting the possibility of a drupal admin of approving the permissions. I want anonymous user registering to select the profile type that they will like to registered as and get approved immediately. After approval, they will have the option to complete their profiles. I just want a minimum registration form with the current core drupal registration and few additions including the profile types. I will have 2 different profile type. I currently have the options, but then an admin have to further assign their appropriate role base on their selections.
