can you pull up the price of commodites like Gold, silver, corn etc?

Happy to say that the answer is yes! Reference the commodity symbols here:
http://finance.yahoo.com/futures
Since stockapi uses Yahoo Finance as the data source, any symbol that you can successfully pull up in Yahoo's website should generally work through this module.
