In 7.x-2.4-beta1 the path to the markers file could by set in admin/config/services/gmap. In the latest stable release, this path setting is not used. In stead, some default setting is used.

Example:
Path to gmap_markers.js: /misc/gmap_markers.js
Path used (according to admin reports): map/sites/default/files/js/gmap_marker.js
