This patch has reverted in the latest dev:
#1062650-15: How to paginate results using the Views pager?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding how paging is supposed to work, or maybe it was changed on purpose.

I just took a quick peek and I think this is fixed in 7.x-3.x. Please reopen if I'm wrong.
