dear themers, I am a beginner at theming. I have a dual-language site and don't want to waste screen estate with the standard "translations" block. I just need to show the flag of the alternative language somewhere in the header. How could I modify my theme to do this?

same thing with me dude.
I think I'll make my own links with the following urls which I'll place right or left top with adhoc flags :
http://mysite.com/q=en
http://mysite.com/q=fr

the menus are then displayed with the proper suffix attached, so that users will click on topics linked to their proper language.
any other idea ?

drupal is just one word : simple, simple, simple (i.e = great !)
