The "Remove Request new password link from login block" does not work when checked. The link to request a password still exists, however, if a specific HTML message form override is used, the link to request a new password remains, but the HTML override does work and does prevent someone from requesting a password. It would just be nice for it to also remove the link all together. This is occurring using Drupal 5.3 and the default Garland theme on Firefox 2 and IE 6. I believe this has been an issue for some time.

lias commentedI have my site set up to allow both ldap and drupal registrations/login. So I do need to have the request new password enabled for those drupal database logins. I do not want my ldap users to be able to request new passwords and while I haven't tried it (fear of breaking something) I was wondering if the new password request will affect ldap users or if they will get an error message (which is what I want to happen).
I'll probably break down and try it but hoped that someone else had this set up and working. Also see: http://drupal.org/node/122012 and http://drupal.org/node/65159 ( for some reason I'm not seeing the function to disable ldap users changing their password in my install 5.3 ).
Thanks.
