Am I required to mention that my site is running Drupal?

A visiter pointed out that not mentioning that we are using Drupal as our Library Website ( http://biblioteca.mty.itesm.mx ) is like "plagiarism". While I think that it is obviously not, are we required to mention it, link to Drupal.org or do something else to comply with the license?
Thanks =)

Drupal does not require nor force you to do anyting of this nature. It is released GPL and you are free to do what you want with it. It would of course be nice if you linked back and added a tag to your footer to show your support but that is ultimately your choice. If you take notice a default install does not come with any pre inserted drupal links or copyright.
You can also inform your user that if someone wants to know if you use Drupal all they have to do is very the source of your front page.

If you ask nicely I'll give you a towel : )
The GPL
There is no plagiarism of any kind... in fact you are using drupal as the GPL intends for it to be used by doing whatever modifications you want with the software.
