This issue has been discussed at length here before though I cannot get the patches developed to work on my 5.3 installation. The duplicate post issue has not been moved into core so, I still need to find a way to avoid duplicate posts on my site.

Any takers?

By the way I tried posting this as an issue but it keeps on giving me an error saying I must select a version and component but there are no options under these two multi selects, hence I couldn't post it.
